Alkaloids of the Australian Leguminosae*
Many species of Acacia have been tested by Mr. E. P. White for the presence of alkaloids in plants grown in New Zealand. He identified tryptamine, phenylethylamine, and N-methylphenylethylamine. Acacia kettlewelliae Maiden was found by White1 to oontain about 1.5% base in its leaves and stems, 92% of which was 2-phenylethylamine. A sample of leaves collected at Creswick, Victoria, gave 0.9% bas...

Apart from mediastinal angiomyolipoma, lymphangioleiomyomato-sis (LAM) can occur as part of the genetic condition tuberous sclerosis [2]. Since the first report by CORNOG and ETERLINE [3], LAM has been increasingly studied for the pathological processes involved in atypical smooth muscle ...
متن کاملLectures on Mean Curvature Flow (MAT 1063 HS)
The mean curvature flow arises material science and condensed matter physics and has been recently successfully applied by Huisken and Sinestrari to topological classification of surfaces and submanifolds. It is closely related to the Ricci and inverse mean curvature flow. The most interesting aspect of the mean curvature flow is formation of singularities, which is the main theme of these lect...
